It hasn’t been a good week for Samsung. Less than a month after the release of the highly praised Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, Samsung is now recalling millions of units due to possible battery fires. Several reports of battery fires while charging the device have surfaced from Note 7 owners.
Samsung has identified the issue as “a tiny problem in the manufacturing process.”
It’s estimated that 1 in 42,000 phones will experience battery issues such as explosion or fire. The Korean company isn’t taking any risks and is offering to fix the issue.
For now it may be best to hold off on purchasing a Note 7, unless that gorgeous body and excellent feature set just can’t stop you.
